- Why put those colorful Christmas bulbs away when you can use them to make attractive centerpieces. Fill them in large glass jars along with some multicolored metallic confetti, glass beads, etc. to create an amazingly inexpensive and instantly available centerpiece.
- You can use the leftover wrapping paper to make attractive streamers. Spray adhesive on cardstocks and paste golden and silver wrapping papers on them. Once dried, use an adjustable circle cutter to cut out circles of multiple sizes, and punch holes on two opposite sides of the circles except the smallest one. Join all these circles together using jump rings having the largest one at the top and smallest one at the bottom. Hang these streamers from the doorways using thumbtacks.
- Instead of throwing away the tin cans that hold the prepackaged food; why not convert them into colorful votive holders! Wash these cans properly with soap and water so that they don’t stink. Spray paint them colorfully inside out and when the paint has dried, use a paper piercer to create beautifully designed holes in the cans. Place a votive inside them and bingo! Your own homemade New Year party decorations are ready to adorn your house on New Year eve.
- Thread grapes onto a skewer and include them in each glass of champagne that you serve. Apart from grapes, you can also include other fruits such as apple slices. This New Year party decoration idea is sure to attract all eyes.
- Don’t let your guests miss the much-anticipated clock-striking-midnight moments. Display a multitude of clocks of various shapes and sizes on a table to create a vignette. Add some decor to this arrangement such as candles, Christmas lights, etc. Your guests are sure to love this idea.

Healthy Homemade Pizza Recipes For Your Child’s New Year Bash
Of
late the Christmas and New Year parties have become a junk food-fest
serving calorie-laden treats, carbonated drinks, and much more. If
you are hosting a New Year eve party, why not encourage your little
guests to indulge into something healthy such as fruit punch instead
of carbonated drinks and homemade pizzas instead of the ones ordered
from Dominos?
Kids
love pizzas and baking them at home would be a healthier Christmas Party Idea. Instead of buying the prepackaged pizza crust, make this
Christmas Party food at home from whole wheat flour to ensure a
nutritive diet for the kids’ group. Here is how you can make a
whole wheat pizza from scratch.
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon honey (you can use sugar instead of honey)
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 5 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Pre-packaged pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Pizza toppings
- Oregano
Directions:
- Take a bowl of water and sprinkle yeast over it. Allow it to dissolve in water for 5 minutes.
- Pour the remaining water in a large-sized bowl and add honey / sugar, salt, yeast mixture, and olive oil into it.
- Knead the dough well for at least 8 to 10 minutes. If you feel the dough is wet, use some flour till the dough is no longer sticky.
- Form a ball of dough, apply olive oil to it, cover it with a lid, and allow it to rise in a warm place for at least an hour.
- After an hour, the dough will get doubled in size. Divide it into large sized balls and roll them into 12 to 14 inch crust.
- Preheat the oven to 425 degree.
- Place the rolled pizza on a large baking sheet dusted with flour and bake it in the preheated oven for 2 minutes.
- On the half-baked dough, spread the pizza sauce, toppings, and cheese and bake it till the crust turns crispy and the cheese starts melting.
- Take the crispy pizza out, spread oregano on it, slice, and serve.
This
holiday season, encourage your kids to make some healthy Christmas
Party food choices and stay away from the fancy extravagant treats.

Spiderman Theme Invitations That Will Excite Your Guests For Some Web-Slinging Fun
Invitations
are a great way to announce your party and to excite your guests for
attending the celebrations. The invitations should match your party
theme so that your guests can set their expectations right. The
prepackaged invites available with the party supplies store perfectly
complement the rest of the Spiderman Birthday Supplies and therefore,
are the easiest option. However, there are many mommies who want to
get creative and design their own invitation. If you are hosting a
Spiderman Birthday Party, here are some ideas for making invites that
will get your guests jump out of excitement.
Comic
strip invite
The
fictional character Spiderman first appeared in comic books published
by Marvel comics. Why not customize a comic strip to make your
invitation? Scan a page of Spiderman comic book and use photo editing
programs such as Adobe Photoshop to white out the speech bubbles and
fill in your party details. Once done, take printouts of this edited
copy and use them as invites. Use plain blue envelopes for enclosing
the invites or decorate the envelopes with stickers of spiders to
make them look attractive.
Customized
invite featuring the guest of honor
Download
a picture of Spiderman in an action pose and use image editing
software to white out the face of the superhero. Fill in this white
space with the face of your child to make it look as if he is the
real Spiderman. Although Spiderman is rarely seen without his mask,
this customization is sure to impress your guest of honor as well as
your guests. Take the printouts on blue card stock and write your
party details on reverse side. Take professional help if required.
Alternatively,
you can dress up your son in his Spiderman costume, ask him to pose
like his favorite hero, and take some pictures of him. Choose the
best one among them and print it out on blue card stock. Write your
party details on the reverse side and use this as an invitation for
your Spiderman Birthday Party.
Newspaper
invite
Scan
a portion of a newspaper and use image editing software to edit the
news. Whiten out the headline and fill in your own details such as
‘Calling all volunteers to help Spiderman make this world a safe
place’. Under the new headline, write an article that mentions your
party details and asks the invitees to come to the party dressed up
like their superhero.
Apart
from these, you can always use the prepackaged invites available in
most stores selling Spiderman Birthday Supplies so that you can save
some time for other preparations.

Elegant Christmas Party Table Decoration Ideas
Christmas parties are fun and festive
ways to celebrate the special day of the year with your friends and
family. Such parties demand fabulous decor that will transform your
house into a winter wonderland. Out of all, your tabletop is the
first thing that your guests will notice as they walk into your
dining area. Your table therefore, plays a major role in setting up
the mood of your guests. Depending on your budget, you can go for a
simple or elaborate decoration; however, with the below mentioned
Christmas party ideas, you
can have a wonderful tabletop decoration at pocket-friendly prices.
- Buy the required Christmas party supplies in advance in order to beat the holiday season shortage. These supplies such as the tableware, balloons, ribbons, streamers, etc. are indispensable for your party and since they are inexpensive, you must not hesitate from buying them.
- Use a white colored table cover to resemble the snow. Green colored tableware and cutlery representing the greenery will give a coordinated look to your table. Either buy the themed ones or go with the forest green colored solid Christmas party supplies.
- Place a wreath at the center of your table and use ribbons, faux gems, pearls, balls, etc. to decorate it. Place a large candle or couple of candles at the center of this. You can even wrap your pearl bracelet around the candle stick for giving it a whimsical look. Dim the lights and use these candles for illuminating the room. This decoration can however, be risky and therefore, be careful to avoid any fire risk.
- Take a large glass bowl and fill it with pine cones, Christmas balls, and other Christmas ornaments. Paint the pine cones to silver or golden color for giving them a royal look.
- Collect all your old Christmas cards and stick them to a ribbon to make a banner. Hang it on the front part of your table or on the wall behind it. You won’t have to buy anything and therefore, this budget-friendly Christmas party idea would be admired by all.
- Make snowmen out of the Styrofoam and place one snowman near each of your food items to resemble as if the snowman is serving them. Using too many of these may make your table look cluttered so use as per the space on your table.
Your menu should coordinate perfectly
with your party theme. Also, arrange your food on the table
beforehand except the ones that needs to be served immediately. Your
food will go a long way in giving a tempting look to your Christmas
party table.

available at most party supplies stores to minimize your efforts.
These invitations are designed to blend well with other Sesame
Street birthday supplies and therefore, will help you to give
a coordinated look to your celebrations.
Elmo face invite
Cut out an oval shape from red
cardstock and a small circle from an orange cardstock. Paste the
orange circle on the red oval to make it Elmo’s nose. Use the large
rolling eyes available at most department stores to make eyes and
smile-shaped cutout from black cardstock to make the mouth. Write
your party message
on the reverse side of the card and use red
envelopes for enclosing them.
Goldfish invite
Let Dorothy, Elmo’s best friend,
deliver your party message to the guests. Take a printout of a
goldfish on card-stock and cut it along the edges. Write your Sesame
Street birthday party details on the reverse side using
innovative wordings such as ‘This ‘I’ for invitation is brought
to you by the letter ‘j’ (first letter of your child’s name)

Cookie monster invite

cutout from blue card-stock whose color resembles to that of the
cookie monster and fold it in the middle. For making the eyes, cut
out some small circles from white card-stock and paint the pupils
using black color. Paste these eyes on the folded blue circle. The
googly eyes of Cookie monster are its signature characteristics and

Creative Ideas for Hosting a Curious George Birthday Party
Curious George, the inquisitive little
monkey renowned for his curiosity-driven adventures, has captured
everyone’s heart. Just like your preschooler, he is mischievous,
messy, and is always excited to learn about the world around him.
This makes Curious George party
a great option for celebrating your little monkey’s special day.
Invite everyone to a party that will give them tons of opportunities
for monkeying around. Here are some ideas to host a party that will
be a perfect treat for your child as well as his guests.
Invitations
Send out the invites that will make
your little guests anxious about monkeying around in your party.
- The prepackaged invitations and the Curious George party supplies available with us will make the kids go bananas.
- Make your own invitation by cutting out a yellow card stock in the shape of a hat or a banana. Use black marker pen to give outlines to the cutouts. Write your party details on the back side of the card. Such invitations will be impossible for anyone to turn down.
Decorations:
- Buy or make some pinwheels and use them for decorating your driveway. The little monkeys attending your party will love watching them and some will even pick them up!
- The Curious George hanging decorations available with MyBirthdaySupplies will be perfect for your entry door. They have shiny yellow and red spirals and a Curious George cutout at the bottom.
- The themed table cover available with us along with the rest of the Curious George party supplies such as plates, cups, napkins, etc. will give an accented look to your party table.

- Tie a Mylar balloon to each of the guests’ chairs to give a complete look to your party table.
- Use our birthday banner along with some printouts of Curious George for wall decoration.
Fun games

- Our themed pull-string piñata is a must-have for your child’s birthday. Kids will go bananas over this party game.
- Add a fun twist to the popular hot potato game. Let the kids pass the ‘hot banana’ instead of the potato.

and meatballs, lasagna, pizza, and ravioli. Tell the kids that Chef
Pisghetti, George's favorite chef, has prepared all these to please
George’s special friends. Banana punch, banana flavored cupcake,
fresh fruits, etc. will be good add-ons.
Party favors
Curious George books will make a nice
memento of this fun-filled day. Also give away the themed stickers,
blowouts, foam masks, etc. available with us. Our tote bags featuring
Curious George in a joyous mood sitting beside a yellow hat will make

Balloon Decoration Ideas That Will Give a Festive Look to Your Party Atmosphere
Be it a wedding or a birthday,
balloon-based party decorations fit all sizes. These inexpensive
party accessories instantly transform your ordinary party into an
amazing one. Here is how you can use your birthday party balloons to add fun and festive mood to your party.
Balloon splash:
To create this amazing roof effect,
blow a lot of solid color party
decoration balloons using helium, tie curling ribbons to their
neck, and let them float in the air. If you are having a fairy or
princess theme party, tie a plastic star to the lower size of the
curling ribbon. This simple but elegant decoration idea will give a
whimsical look to your party area.
Balloon poles:
This is pretty easy to make and is
great for beautifying the entrance of your party. Secure a dowel on
each side of your porch, at the beginning of your driveway, or at any
other location that you want to highlight. Blow up some balloons and
affix this balloon cluster on the top of the dowel. Decorate the base
of the cluster with streamers, tulle fabric, ribbons, etc. These
balloon poles are perfect outdoor decorations to signal the party
location.
Balloon place cards:
Instead of attaching balloons to the
guest of honor’s chair, write each guest’s name on large plain
Birthday Party Balloons and
tie them to their chairs. These balloons will act as place markers
and can also double up as party favors. Use colored markers or
peel-and-paste letters to write the names. Similarly, you can use
balloons to mark the important areas of your party such as lemonade
station, game station, etc.
Apart from these, the standard balloon
arches, columns, and garlands play a big role in sprucing up your
empty party space. By creatively using these inexpensive party decoration balloons, you can create an eye-catching atmosphere
for your party.
