Does your daughter loves running after butterflies? Make this beautiful butterfly invite for her next birthday party and you will see her fluttering with joy. Supplies Needed:

• Tiny Boxes- (I used gold ones)
• Blue Butterflies (go for small ones they are perfect for crafts)
• Blue & white Paper
• Blue Ribbon
• Paper Cutter
• Scissors
• Glue Gun & Hot Glue
• Tape (Preferably double-sided)

Steps to follow:

• For writing invitation details I used a plain white sheet approx 1.75” wide. Print all the details on them and carefully cut them out in strips whilst leaving the top & bottom.
• To jazz up these plain invites, cut out a blue strip and add a border to the invite approx 1.9” wide. Push your creativity, fold and tape it like an accordion.
• Get some store bought blue butterflies and hot glue them to the top of the invites. Go for hot glue only for sticking to insure they remain intact when pulled out of the box.
• Now fold your beautiful butterfly invite and place them in the 2”x2” box, with butterfly facing upwards.
• Tie them up with blue ribbon resembling a pretty bow.
• To give it an elegant finishing, make a ‘you are invited’ tag using blue paper to go with it.
• Let these beautiful butterfly invites flutter around for inviting your guests.

Homemade Apple Jam for your Toddler

Ingredients:

• 2 Apples
• Brown Sugar
• Juice of half lemon
• 3 or 4 Tablespoon Butter
• 2 Small pieces of Cinnamon

Method:

• Slice and dice two apples
• Take a bowl and marinate finely chopped apples with lemon juice for 3-4 minutes.
• Make sure you don’t marinate for more than 4 minutes as apples can turn brown.
• Take a pan and pour butter. You can also use ghee instead of butter as per your taste.
• Then add small pieces of cinnamon to it. Make sure you remove the cinnamon sticks as they are added only to give flavor.
• Add the chopped apple pieces and cook them until soft.
• Add brown sugar in the pan and cook till both apple and brown sugar is well blended.
• Don’t add water to cook the apples.
• Let the mixture to cool off then blend it using blender.
• Store it in a clean, dry, airtight bottle for upto 2 to 3 days.

Supplies Needed:

• Bath bomb mold
• 1 Cup Baking Soda
• ½ Cup Citric Acid
• ½ Cup Epson Salts
• 1 Tsp. water
• 2 Tsp. essential oil
• 3 Tsp. Olive Oil
• Food Coloring (any color of your choice)
• Bowl
• Jar
• Whisk

Steps:

• Add all dry ingredients in a bowl and then mix them with a whisk until well blended.
• Take a separate container, mix all liquid ingredients together. You can add desired fragrance oils and colors, fragrances in this step, try out different oil combinations like lavender for relaxation and warmth, if looking for something soft & sensual then rose can be considered.
• Now slowly add liquid mixture to the dry mix. Just add one spoon at a time, mix well before poring next spoon.
• When ingredients are well blended, just simply pack this mixture into a bath bomb then leave it for drying.
• Work quickly so as not to let the bath bomb mixture dry out.

Spiderman Heroic Invite: DIY!

Start crafting!

1. The Paper Spider Invitation Card

Materials:

• Thick black construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Wiggle eyes
• Crayons or colored pencils
• Silver sparkle pen

Steps:

1. Cut out a rectangular card. Write the wording you want with the crayons or the silver sparkle pen, “silver” to give in the feel of the web.
2. Now it’s the turn of the paper spider. Cut out an oval shape and small circle from the black construction paper. The oval shaped is the spider’s body and the circle one is the head of it.
3. Then come the legs. Cut 4 thin strips from, the thick black construction paper. Make the strips at least 4 time as long as the spider’s oval body.
4. Glue the round head onto the oval body.
5. Then glue the four pairs of legs on the body, leaving equal sized legs on the both sides of the oval shaped body.
6. Crease each of the eight legs in the middle.
7. Glue some wiggle eyes (spiders have more than two eyes), or draw the eyes with crayons if wiggle eyes are not available.
8. Finish it up by gluing it onto the card!
9. Your Paper Spider Heroic Invitation Card is ready!

2. The Paper Plate Spider Web

Materials:

• Colorful paper plates
• Spun thread used for knitting
• Glue

Steps:

1. Cut half inch long cuts around the colorful paper plate. You can also mark them before cutting them.
2. Choose a colorful spun thread that contrasts with the color of the plate. Cut the thread into long pieces- the longer they’re, the better it is.
3. Begin weaving the spun thread across and around the plate in a random pattern, fitting into the cuts.
4. When the spun thread runs out, tie its ends around any crisscrossing strands at the back of the plate. You can continue weaving until you are satisfied with the woven web.
5. Glue a paper spider on it, crafting it the way told above.
6. Glue this paper spider web on your card!
7. Your super heroic card is ready!

Tips: You can add wordings such as quotes by Spiderman, each different for every card. E.g. “With great power comes great responsibility. This way the card would teach some of the amazing leadership lessons of Spiderman! And the kids can share the different quotes among themselves too.
