With our
ice cream theme birthday party
So let’s
celebrate this day with vigor
Before
it melts!!
Decorations:
Use balloons and streamers
inspired from ice cream colors like soft yellow, lavender, mint
green, pastel orange, white, strawberry pink and more for giving a
colorful and festive look. You can also blow balloons and tie them
with metal ice cream cones.
Give an ice cream parlor look to
the venue. If you have a wagon at home, place a cooler on it
to give it a mini ice cream truck look. Create a tag board and paste
it on the wagon mentioning variety of ice cream flavors, playful
spoons, and different toppings to choose from. To add more
excitement among kids, you can also hand over them fake dollars that
they can give in return of buying ice cream.
You can also make hanging cone
decorations at home. Cut out large cones from construction paper or
use store bough large paper cones. Take Styrofoam balls and cover it
with different color tissue papers to represent ice cream flavors
like pink, green and more. Use hot glue to secure the ball on the
middle of the cone and trim tissue paper with scissors to give it a
look of scoop as shown in picture. Use fishing line to hang these
cute cone decorations.
How about a homemade ice cream
cone garland? Get some honeycomb balls from your nearest craft store
and secure it on the top of a brown colored handmade cone made using
construction paper. Slip through the thread or ribbon and hang it
around the party food table or some other place.
For the party centerpiece, I used
mini glass as ice cream cups and filled it with colorful
marshmallows, cherries, colorful sprinkles, chocolate chips then use
tissue paper carnations as ice creams and top it with a red pom-
pom. This was simple, dint took much of my time and made an adorable
centerpiece.
