- Say NO to fear: Taking out time for your little one is a good gesture, especially before the first day of the school; make sure you talk all positive things about school, activities, new friends, good learning and more.
- Supporting: Your child needs some kind of support because many don’t get frank so easily with the others so they need someone to cuddle with them and care them personally till the time they are fully comfortable. However, a good support is important no matter what the age is; this will be beneficial in the future too.
- Interacting: Interaction is very important. So, when your child comes back from the school spend some time and discuss all the things happened in the school. Doing this will make you understand your child’s experience, games, opportunities and activities that can be planned according to the situation of your child. Most importantly, don’t get panic when your kiddo starts crying; just pamper them and tell that you will be back quickly.

Fun & Festive DIY Birthday Decorations
Birthdays are heartfelt! Birthdays only
come once a year and each year it should be special. If your tiny
tots birthday is around the corner and you are planning to host a
party for him/her then here are some undeniably cute birthday
decorations ideas that will add pizzazz to your party décor without
hurting your budget.
- Balloon Blowout- Create a grand gesture with the most inexpensive decoration- balloons. Pick balloon of one color or several shades, blow these balloons and attach to wall in a way that they depict the age of birthday child like making a 7 or 5. Use double sided tape to attach them to wall.
- Candy Garland- Can it get sweeter than this? Candy necklaces are a favorite of little girls. Transform these candy necklaces into a sweet & sugary birthday decoration. Cut through the elastics of candy necklaces and carefully remove some rings from each end. Finally, tie necklaces together to form a circle that can easily reach around your party table. Your colorful sugary swag is all ready to jazz up your party table. Hang this garland around the table and secure it with safety pins underneath.
- Picture-Perfect Party Supplies- Adorable aren’t they? Instead of buying store-bought themed party supplies, wow your guests with picture-perfect party supplies. Take stamp size picture of birthday baby and paste it over solid color supplies including cups, plates, goodie bags almost everything and your supplies are all ready to enchant your guests.
- Creative Paper Napkins- Turn regular paper napkins into various fun shapes by using scalloping scissors. As show in the picture, you can create many shapes out of napkin such as flower, hearts or leaves and place them on the table to give a fancy touch.
- Dress up Lanterns- Deck up your birthday party with ribbon lanterns in no time. All you need is 4 lengths of satin or gross grain ribbon to decorate each lantern. Starting from one bottom corner, thread ribbon through the 4 cuts on that side, let each ribbon loop over lantern and thread other side. Make sure equal overhang is left on the both sides. You can place another ribbon parallel to first and repeat threading. These dressed up ribbon-lanterns make stunning decorations.

Butterfly in a box – DIY Birthday Invite
Supplies Needed:
- Tiny Boxes- (I used gold ones)
- Blue Butterflies (go for small ones they are perfect for crafts)
- Blue & white Paper
- Blue Ribbon
- Paper Cutter
- Scissors
- Glue Gun & Hot Glue
- Tape (Preferably double-sided)
- For writing invitation details I used a plain white sheet approx 1.75” wide. Print all the details on them and carefully cut them out in strips whilst leaving the top & bottom.
- To jazz up these plain invites, cut out a blue strip and add a border to the invite approx 1.9” wide. Push your creativity, fold and tape it like an accordion.
- Get some store bought blue butterflies and hot glue them to the top of the invites. Go for hot glue only for sticking to insure they remain intact when pulled out of the box.
- Now fold your beautiful butterfly invite and place them in the 2”x2” box, with butterfly facing upwards.
- Tie them up with blue ribbon resembling a pretty bow.
- To give it an elegant finishing, make a ‘you are invited’ tag using blue paper to go with it.
- Let these beautiful butterfly invites flutter around for inviting your guests.
